Our Process

The process of buying a franchise is pretty detailed. With thousands of franchises across countless industries and categories, the process just got even bigger. Navigating this road on your own can be very time-consuming and potentially lead you down a path of stress and frustration. Working with a franchise consultant like me can save you from all that.

  • The first step of the process begins with a 30-minute call. This call allows me to get to know you, your current situation, and your goals in owning your own business. We will also talk a bit about the full franchise investigation process and answer any initial questions you may have. At the conclusion of this call, we will decide if this is something that we want to continue to work on together.

  • This call lasts 1-2 hours and focuses on gathering various information about you. This conversation will help me better understand you, your background, abilities, and strengths. It will also allow you to let me know what you don’t like to do or are just not good at. All of this information will help create your unique model, which we will use to match you with some perfect-fitting franchise options. During this call, we will also cover more of the process in detail so that you know your exact next steps and how to prepare best to move forward.

  • This is one of my favorite steps in the process! On this call, I will reveal the different franchise businesses that fit your personal model that we developed on the Strategy Call. In a word, this is where all the work comes together to start you on your franchise investigative journey.

  • Once we conclude our Franchise Selection Call, I will immediately introduce you to the franchisors for the businesses you will investigate. This is the most time-consuming part of the process, where you will engage with each franchisor to learn everything you can about their business and whether it’s a fit for you. During this part of the process, we will have regularly scheduled coaching calls to help you process information, prepare for the next step, and put you in touch with franchise funding experts to help you with the best approach to funding your new business.

  • The process ends when you decide it does. Some candidates don’t make it past the Introductory Call because they figure out that they don’t have the time and resources to give to the process. A few get into the process, learn about each franchise and even narrow it down to the one they think is right for them but simply can’t pull the trigger. But many make it all the way to the end of the process, purchase their franchise, and are excited for what’s to come. How your journey ends is totally up to you!
